Resolved: Jenkins slow (for example in Apache Tomcat)

Is your Jenkins slow, taking lots of time to load pages and does it have a high cpu load ?

Don't run it from the WAR file. Unzip it in a directory called 'jenkins' in your /webapps directory. Works wonders, Jenkins is much faster after this.

If it's still slow at some point:

• Check the /manager/status page: Is the memory almost full? If yes, think about increasing the memory size.
